Monica was one of the people I was nervously tracking on ironmanlive.com, which hardly ever updated. But I spoke with her on the phone right after the race; she hooked up with the Disney Tri Team (I have 8 friends in Brazil who did it) and she sounded in great spirits. Now she's off to do some well-earned vacationing in Brazil, assuming she can walk.
Have effort in writing this blog.
