Looks as if Coeur D'Alene will be warmer than Tucson this weekend....the lake is already over 50 degrees. Good news hmm? (whew!) Let's hope the warming continues. I like warm.
Not to rain an anyone's parade but the problem we have up here is the record levels of snow in the mountains. Because of the very cool spring, there has been little snow pack melt. Now as the temps begin to rise, the snow melts and ends up, well you guessed it, in Lake CDA.

Looks like my promises to God, Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and anyone else who will listen that I will be really good this year is working!
:)
and overnight it's (so far) dropped back to 47 - looks like a warm weekend ahead...lets keep the fingers crossed!
I bet that water temp website is getting recording breaking traffic lately :-)
Unfortunately, growing up in that area.. I know the weather there is not nearly as predictable as summer in AZ! But, things are LOOKING UP!
Like Bigun said, we have some hot weather coming our way. I bet we start seeing the temps rise quickly.

SpokaneAl: We're counting on you to build dams, trenches, whatever it takes to reroute all of that snow runoff someplace else!

OK, so the water temp is back to 49degrees. Is this the late runoff? Sigh...
